Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane, Australia is the place where I was born and brought up. The daughter of British parents. Clemens first began acting on Australian TV in high school. She starred as Juliet on the show Blue Water High in 2006 and starred as Alison on The Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's television show in 2007. Clemens received nominations at the Logie Awards in 2008 for her character, Harper on Showtime's show Love My Way. She won the Graham Kennedy Award and the Award in the category of Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens appeared in the 2008 MTV Networks Australia dramatic film Dream Life alongside Sigrid Thornton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane.She had small roles in the TV series All Saints and the film X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. The following the same year Clemens changed to the model for Jan Logan jewelery. Clemens made the move from California to Angeles in 2009. Clemens portrayed Xandrie in the 2010 movie Wasted on the Young. Clemens was Camilla Dickinson in 2012 along with Gregg Sulkin Cary Elwes Samantha Mathis. This drama is an adaptation of the novel written in 1951 written by Madeleine L'Engle, a young adult novelist. For Silent Hill: Revelation 3D she played teenager Heather Mason. The movie was based on the survival horror video game Silent Hill 3 and was a sequel to the film Silent Hill.That year Clemens was also in a leading part as a young suffragette Valentine Wannop in Parade's End a television mini-series adaptation to The Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens was a character as a character in Luke Evans' 2012 horror flick The film No One Lives. Also, she was in the 2013 film The Great Gatsby based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel by the same name. Catherine Wilson was Isla's sister. Clemens portrays Tawney in Rectify which was a film from 2013 Sundance Channel miniseries created by Ray McKinnon. Clemens will also be starring alongside Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham and Zachary Quinto in the independent drama The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
