Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in 1960s. In the 1950s, she began her professional career as an actor on stage in Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater area with Li'l abner's in the year 1957. In the same year, she released Her first album of music It's Time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. It was an enormous success, and Louise was awarded her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she began her studies at Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The year 1964 saw her signing with CBS and played Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her acting career in between Broadway TV and Hollywood playing more serious characters as opposed to her perception of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. However, in recent years she was also a prominent director on popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto for her childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 to play the role and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
