Zoe-perry
Perry is she is Chicago native born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. Her first TV roles included two episodes as Jackie Harris (as seen in flashback) in her role on the ABC sitcom Roseanne, the character portrayed by her mother. Her parents, however, were not keen to let her perform until she turned an adult fearing the effect of stress. Perry shy and shy for acting in school, began performing in theater classes at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry, after graduating from Boston University moved into New York in search of television roles. She landed small parts in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness drove her to California to find theater work. In 2013, she appeared in The Other Place on Broadway alongside her mother. Perry was in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie and Kevin McKidd. This was staged in the West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Perry appeared in 9 episodes of ABC's thriller The Family during 2016. In 2017, she played her own recurring part on The ABC Political thriller Scandal which starred her father. The character she played was the younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off show that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. She was cast in the role in an audition that was open despite having a connection to this role.
